Our client, a well-established and growing oil & gas producer, is seeking a Production Accountant to join their Calgary-based team on a 1 year Contract. This prospect is ideal for a senior production accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of full-cycle production and revenue accounting activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Complete full-cycle production and revenue accounting for operated and non-operated assets in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Maintain and update master data within Metrix, including wells, market masters, royalties, and processing fees. Perform monthly accounts receivable reviews and reconciliations. Review and process production and revenue amendments as required.

Investigate and resolve system issues and data discrepancies within Metrix. Support internal and external audits relating to production, revenue, transportation, and royalties. 1-3 years of production and revenue accounting experience within the oil & gas industry. ~ Strong understanding of production accounting principles and industry regulations. ~
