Market-competitive salary ~100% employer‑paid medical & dental coverage ~ Quarterly performance incentive program ~ Day shift schedule – no nights or rotating shifts ~ The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily activities of the production team to ensure quality products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This hands‑on leadership role supports production employees, coordinates workflow, addresses operational issues, and ensures adherence to company quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader who can motivate employees, maintain productivity, and support continuous improvement efforts in a fast‑paced production environment. Supervise, coach, and support production employees.
Conduct daily production meetings and communicate priorities. Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback. Assist with employee training and onboarding.
Production Operations
Coordinate daily production activities to meet customer delivery requirements. Monitor workflow and staffing to ensure efficient production. Address production issues and elevate concerns as required. Ensure production schedules are followed and deadlines are met.
Support inventory control and material flow within the department.
Quality & Safety Ensure products meet established quality standards. Work with Quality Assurance to investigate and resolve production issues.
Promote compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Support efforts to reduce waste and improve operational performance. Track daily production performance and key operational metrics.
Communicate production issues, staffing concerns, and operational challenges to management. Prepare basic reports related to productivity, quality, and attendance. Participate in regular management meetings. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. ~ Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams. ~ Experience working in a production-focused environment with quality standards. ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic production reporting. ~ Experience in medical manufacturing, custom manufacturing, orthotics, or similar industries is considered an asset.
Experience with production scheduling and workflow management. Familiarity with continuous improvement principles.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment requiring attention to quality and customer service. Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and chemical odors. Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the facility. Regular interaction with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
