Role Description The Production Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Red Deer, AB, responsible for overseeing daily production operations on the plant floor. This role coordinates work schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors workflow to ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality requirements are consistently met.

The Production

Foreman leads and supports team members, provides clear direction, and communicates effectively with other departments to resolve issues and maintain efficient operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring equipment and processes, implementing production plans, enforcing health and safety procedures,



and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements, training team members, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and respect.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.

- Candidates should possess Production Planning and Production Management skills to coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and achieve production targets efficiently.

- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with team members, management, and cross-functional departments, both verbally and in writing.

- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product standards, enforce procedures, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.

- Relevant experience in food processing, manufacturing, or industrial operations, ideally in a high-volume environment.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to promote a safe work environment.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced setting.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in production, operations, or a related field is an asset.

- Ability to work versatile shifts as needed and perform physical tasks associated with plant operations.
