Role Overview

This position is a hands-on operational role responsible for managing daily procurement and complex supply chain logistics to support continuous manufacturing. The Specialist will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials while overseeing the logistical flow of goods from vendors to production and finally to customers. This role requires solid analytical skills and direct experience managing logistics within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Logistics & Freight Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including liaising with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Shipping Documentation: Prepare and review specialized logistics documentation, such as packing slips, bills of lading, and customs paperwork for international shipments.
- Procurement: Issue and receive purchase orders for materials and services.
- Inventory & Stock Flow: Run and analyze inventory reports to optimize stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with the production and sales departments to ensure stock is ready and available to ship when needed.
- System Management: Maintain ERP system records, including part numbers, classifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance.
- Transfers: Coordinate and complete multi-company inventory transfers and logistics movements.
- Warehouse Liaison: Work closely with the in-house warehouse team to oversee receipts, adjustments, and storage optimization.
- Partner Management:



Liaise with outside production partners to ensure proper completion of production and monitor the logistics of new stock delivery.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing and logistics operations.
- Proven track record in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and logistics tracking.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a strong asset.
- Deep understanding of purchasing cycles and inventory movements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and carrier negotiations.
- Knowledge of EV or electronic components is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between the company’s two locations .
