QA Engineer – Playwright

Location: Canada

Job Type: Contract

Fully REMOTE

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Create and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
- Analyze test results and provide clear defect reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.




- Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage.

Required Skills

- 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Good understanding of manual and automation testing.
- Experience with API testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
