As a Quality Control Technician for North Arc Precision, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of product safety and quality of incoming and outgoing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting and measuring all incoming components of products using state of the art measurement systems
- Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs. Including FA and PPAP reports
- Generating detailed Non-Conformance Reports and communicate with external vendors
- Communicating required quality or process adjustments to internal production supervisor
- Reading engineering drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products
- Assisting in generation and implementation of inspection plans
- Programming and operating Keyence vision measurement systems (training provided)
- Programming and operating CMM (training provided)
- Assisting Quality Engineer in resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner
- Supporting R&D; and engineering efforts in performing precision measurements and generating detailed report
- Supporting efforts of continuous improvement activities of products and processes
- Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Quality Control is considered an asset
- Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications with GD&T; is an asset
- Experience building and/or inspecting bike components or triggers is an asset
- Able to lift up to 10lbs
- This position is 100% in-office at our facility in Mississauga
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
