Insight is currently seeking Radiopharmacy Specialists to join our agile and expanding team. These are full time, permanent positions based out of our Unity Square clinic, with an anticipated start date of October 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and document radioactive materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Elute radionuclide generators and prepare radiopharmaceutical kits using aseptic technique.
- Calculate, measure, dispense, label, and verify radiopharmaceutical doses.
- Perform and document generator, dose calibrator, radiochemical purity, and other required QC testing.
- Maintain complete production, dispensing, QC, inventory, and lot/expiry records.
- Order and monitor radiopharmaceuticals, generators, kits, and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized,
and inspection-ready hot lab and ensure equipment is functional.
- Conduct contamination surveys, radiation monitoring, and radioactive waste disposal in accordance with CNSC requirements.
- Develop and maintain hot lab SOPs and ensure compliance with ALARA and radiation safety policies.
- Support quality improvement initiatives related to radiopharmaceutical production.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical production, radiation safety, and CNSC requirements.
- Excellent mathematical, organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, make sound decisions, and remain motivated and self-directed.
- Able to remain calm and effective in stressful or emotionally challenging situations.
- Skilled in the safe handling of radioactive materials, lead shielding, and shipping containers weighing up to 22 kg.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Health Sciences or related discipline.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (or ability to obtain)
- WHMIS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in a radiopharmacy or hot lab environment preferred.
