Parkway Dental is looking for a warm, energetic, and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist who genuinely loves working with children to join our team and help us grow an exciting area of our practice.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care with a particular focus on our paediatric patients while continuing to work collaboratively with our dentists and clinical team.

Responsibilities include

● Providing gentle, thorough hygiene care for children of varying ages and comfort levels

● Creating positive and engaging dental experiences that help children build confidence in the dental environment

● Educating children and parents/guardians on oral hygiene, preventive care,



nutrition, and healthy habits

● Recognizing individual patient needs and adapting communication and appointments accordingly

● Collaborating closely with our dentists to ensure comprehensive care and appropriate treatment planning

● Supporting orthodontic monitoring and preventive care where appropriate

●Excited about the idea to attend CE paid for by parkway dental .

Who We’re Looking For

You are a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing in British Columbia who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy working with kids.

You’re patient, upbeat, reassuring, and comfortable adapting your approach to different personalities. You understand that a child’s early experiences at the dentist can shape how they feel about dental care for years to come.

We would love someone who is also:

● Friendly, confident, and highly patient-focused

● A strong communicator with both children and parents

● Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative team member

● Interested in continuing education and professional development

● Excited about helping develop a growing area of the practice





● Reliable and comfortable working within a smaller weekend team

● Experienced with dental software and digital workflows

Previous paediatric-focused experience is an asset, but the right personality, passion for children, and willingness to grow with the program are equally important to us.

Our ideal schedule is Thursday, Friday and Saturday, although there is flexibility for the right candidate.

Parkway Dental has recently expanded our availability to include Saturdays, and we are continuing to invest in appointment options that make dental care more accessible for busy families.
