As a Regional Manager, Financial Planning , you will provide team and sales leadership, business development, referrals and ongoing mentoring to achieve targets and support a dynamic culture of results.Oversee and lead a large and highly diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope, while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve team and career goalsLead a high-performing team of Wealth Advice Specialists and Financial Planners who are focused on acquiring and retaining committed customer relationships and earned business for the mass affluent segmentProvide mentorship, direction and motivation on sound business practices and compliance requirements in challenging yet collaborative environment to deliver strong resultsProvide strategic partner relationship to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials,



with deep industry and enterprise knowledgeParticipate in cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert to identify and enact strategic operational efficiencies and opportunitiesDevelop long-term plans for own area and influence beyond area managedActively manage relationships, processes and regulatory requirements within and across business divisionsEnsure all customer-facing activities support the client experience and improve the TD brandMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetiteJob RequirementsUniversity degree with over five (5) or more years' management experience at a senior level plus five (5) years industry experienceUniversity degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), or willing to complete all requirements to become licensed within 6 monthsCompletion of the Investment Dealer Supervisors Course (IDSC) and additional regulatory requirements to be completed within required timeframes, where applicable.Strong communication and team management skills to exchange ideas and information with the partners and teamWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
