Job title: Licensed Dental Hygienist (LDH)

Pay: $60/hr

Whitelaw Dental is a small, owner-operated, four-chair practice in downtown Kamloops with one dentist. No corporate ownership, no production targets, no quotas.

Our clinical focus is biomimetic dentistry, which is conservative, adhesive, tooth-preserving restorative work.

The role

- Monday to Thursday, four-day week
- 7:30–5:00, 30-minute unpaid lunch; patient care runs 8:00–4:30
- Mostly 70-minute appointments, occasionally 60
- You set your own scaling and recall intervals

Compensation

- $60/hour
- 4% vacation pay
- The clinic closes roughly seven weeks per year. These weeks are unpaid beyond vacation pay
- Complimentary dental care for you and your immediate family

Equipment and systems

Digital sensors, A-dec chairs, Cavitron. Akitu One practice management software — niche, but intuitive and quick to pick up.

Requirements

Current BCCOHP registration in good standing.
