Around the World Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing team.

We are looking for an educator with 3+ years of experience who genuinely enjoys working with children and takes pride in creating an engaging, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Our RECEs work collaboratively with fellow educators to create meaningful learning experiences based on children's interests, development and individual needs. We value educators who are dependable, energetic, communicate effectively and want to contribute to a positive environment for both children and their colleagues.

Qualifications The successful candidate will:

- Be a Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Have 3+ years of experience working in licensed child care
- Have a strong understanding of How Does Learning Happen?
- Have knowledge and experience supporting children with diverse and special needs
- Bring a flexible, energetic and positive approach to early learning




- Be confident managing a classroom and collaborating with fellow educators
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a mature, dependable and responsible approach to their work
- Hold current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Meet applicable immunization requirements for working in licensed child care

Responsibilities and Duties As an RECE, you will:

- Create and maintain a safe, welcoming and nurturing learning environment
- Establish positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Observe children's interests and incorporate those interests into classroom programming
- Engage meaningfully with children throughout the day to support their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Recognize children's individual strengths, interests and needs and adapt programming accordingly
- Support children with diverse abilities and individual needs
- Document children's learning, progress and development
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to maintain a positive, organized and engaging classroom
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents and caregivers
- Participate in weekly programming and planning
- Follow centre policies, licensing requirements and applicable child-care regulations
