Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments,
and patient progress in accordance with clinical standards.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, medical terminology standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven hospital experience with a strong background in acute care environments.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and familiarity with pediatric physiotherapy techniques is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
