We are a small team in the heart of Kitsilano looking for a energetic and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist with Clinical Pilates Certification to join our team. In this role, you will deliver expert physiotherapy services, focusing on patient-centered care to promote recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help patients regain strength and function through tailored treatment plans that incorporate clinical Pilates techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and functional goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions
- Implement clinical Pilates programs designed to improve core strength, flexibility, and stability for various patient populations.
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and self-management strategies to support long-term health.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices, medical terminology, and industry standards to continually enhance your skills.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with licensing from the appropriate regulatory body.
- Certification in Clinical Pilates from a recognized program or institution.
- Experience working with older patients is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care with compassion and professionalism.
- Interest in learning from other team members about other treatment modalities and an open minded approach of other treatment modalities such as the Connect TherapyTM and Thoracic Ring ApproachTM
