Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Reliability Engineer - Fixed Equipment & Asset Integrity to join our client's team in Fort McMurray, Alberta . This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineering professional with expertise in fixed equipment reliability, inspections, risk assessments, and asset integrity within heavy industrial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and sustainment of asset strategies for critical fixed equipment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize reliability, manage risk, and improve operational performance.

You will have experience facilitating Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments and be passionate about maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 hours per day | 40 hours per week Temporary | Full-time | Contract (Initial 3-Month Term with Potential Extension) This is a site-based position in Fort McMurray, AB. Candidates must currently reside in the area or be willing to relocate. This is not a camp-based or FIFO (Fly-In/Fly-Out) role.

Develop, implement, and sustain fixed equipment reliability strategies for critical assets. Collect, review, and analyze equipment operating histories, inspection reports, failure data, and maintenance records. Facilitate and support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments.

Evaluate equipment degradation mechanisms,



damage mechanisms, and asset integrity risks. Develop risk-based inspection, maintenance, monitoring, and mitigation strategies to improve asset performance and reliability. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to asset reliability and risk management.

Provide technical recommendations to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Candidates must currently reside in the fort McMurray area or be willing to relocate.

This is not a camp-based or FIFO (Fly-In/Fly-Out) role. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering. Alternative engineering disciplines may be considered with demonstrated experience in fixed equipment reliability, RCM, and RBI strategy development.

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in refining, upgrading, petrochemical or oil sands operations. Solid understanding of equipment integrity management and asset reliability practices.

Experience applying API 581 methodology is considered a strong asset. Ability to interpret technical data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
