Retail Assistant Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations and support the sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, retail product knowledge, and proficiency with POS systems. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service to drive retail sales and achieve store goals.

Duties

- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
- Supervise and support retail staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and accurate record-keeping
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products to assist customers effectively
- Drive retail sales through excellent customer service and upselling techniques
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and store procedures

Qualifications




- Proven supervisory or management experience in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of retail products and inventory management practices
- Proficiency with POS systems and retail technology tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Flexibility to work diverse shifts including weekends and holidays as required
