Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team. This role is essential in overseeing daily store operations, managing sales teams, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial communication skills, retail industry sales experience, and a solid understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes.

As a key leader within the store, the Retail Assistant Manager will support the store's growth by supervising staff, driving retail sales, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Duties

- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth and productive functioning
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervise staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and stock rotation to optimize sales opportunities
- Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of products while maintaining budget controls
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate tasks and implement store policies
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop strategies for increasing retail performance




- Support visual merchandising efforts to enhance product presentation and attract customers

Experience
- Proven experience in retail industry sales team management with a strong track record of supervising staff effectively
- Demonstrated ability in inventory management and purchasing within a retail environment
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate with team members and upper management
- Prior experience in retail sales with a focus on achieving targets and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supervisory experience is essential for leading teams and managing daily operations effectively
