Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the retail sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness to ensure an inviting shopping environment.
- Manage purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and product placement to maximize profitability and meet sales goals.
- Handle employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a strong team aligned with company standards.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for cashiering, cash handling, payroll processing, and sales tracking to maintain operational accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks and bookkeeping to prevent shrinkage and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and boost store visibility within the community.

Skills

- Proven management experience within the retail industry with strong leadership capabilities in supervising teams.
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette,



and bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred for diverse customer interactions.
- Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution to foster positive relationships with clients and staff alike.
- Proficient in inventory management software, POS systems, merchandising tools, and basic math for retail math calculations.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across operations management, shift management, budgeting, and training & development initiatives.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as upselling, pricing strategies, wireless sales (if applicable), and grocery store operations when relevant.
- Demonstrated ability in time management and operational oversight to ensure smooth store functions from opening to closing shifts.
