We are seeking a reliable and compassionate RN or LPN to provide community-based OAT (Opioid Agonist Treatment) medication delivery to patients in Kelowna.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working independently while providing professional, respectful, and confidential service to patients.

Responsibilities

- Deliver prescribed OAT medications safely and confidentially to patients at designated locations.
- Verify patient identity according to established procedures.
- Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable qualified standards.
- Maintain appropriate medication security and custody during transportation.
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and records.
- Communicate with the pharmacy/healthcare team regarding completed, missed, or unsuccessful deliveries.
- Report medication discrepancies, concerns, or unusual circumstances promptly.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Treat all patients with dignity, respect, and a non-judgmental approach.




- Follow applicable safety and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing as an RN or LPN in British Columbia.
- Previous experience in OAT, addictions, mental health, community nursing, or medication delivery is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to complete required employer training and screening.
