Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QE Lead to serve as a key QE Client Partner with strong Retail domain expertise. This client-facing, hands-on role balances Quality Engineering leadership, stakeholder management, functional testing, and test automation. You will serve as the primary QE Point of Contact (POC) between the client and the organization while contributing directly to critical QE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Engagement & Leadership: Act as the primary QE POC, building solid stakeholder relationships to align quality roadmaps with client business goals. Own QE metrics, release readiness, and risk reporting while reporting directly to the QE Practice Head.
- Domain & Strategy: Leverage deep Retail domain knowledge to identify business-critical scenarios, mitigate quality gaps, and establish comprehensive test approaches.
- Test Automation & Delivery: Lead and execute functional, integration, regression, and API testing. Drive automation strategies, framework adoption, and CI/CD integration using shift-left practices while maintaining a hands-on technical role.




- Practice Improvement & Collaboration: Mentor engineers, identify opportunities for QE transformation and efficiency gains, and collaborate closely with cross-functional development, product, and architectural teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 12+ years of overall experience in Quality Engineering, QA, or Test Engineering, including experience in a client-facing QE Lead, Test Lead, or QE Consultant role.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrable experience across core Retail functions (e.g., E-commerce/Digital Commerce, Omnichannel, Order Management, POS, Supply Chain, Inventory, Payments, or Loyalty Platforms).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in functional testing and automation framework design/implementation.

Preferred Tech Stack

- Automation Frameworks: Playwright, Appium, API Automation, REST Assured
- Architecture & Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, Microservices, and API-based architectures

Methodologies & Communication

Expert understanding of Agile/Scrum and excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
