Join Our Team as a Tennis Pro Shop Sales Associate!

​Are you a passionate tennis enthusiast with a knack for sales and exceptional customer service? Our busy, community-focused tennis pro shop is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team!

​Position Summary

​As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our shop, helping customers of all skill levels find the perfect gear to elevate their game. You'll be responsible for driving sales, maintaining shop organization, and providing expert advice on the latest tennis equipment.

​Key Responsibilities

​Customer Engagement & Sales: Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through our selection of apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment (racquets, balls, bags).

​Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of current tennis gear, technologies, and trends, including different brands and models.

​Merchandising: Assist with product displays, restocking, and keeping the shop floor clean and organized to ensure an inviting shopping experience.

​Point of Sale (POS): Accurately process transactions, handle returns, and manage inventory checks.

​Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

​Required Qualifications

MUST KNOW HOW TO STRING TENNIS RACQUETS

​Experience: Proven retail sales experience, preferably within a sporting goods or specialty retail environment.

​Tennis Knowledge:



A solid background and genuine passion for the sport of tennis, including familiarity with various equipment types.

​Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

​Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

​Flexibility: Must be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

​Highly Desired Asset (BIG PLUS!)

​Racquet Stringing Certification/Experience: The ability to professionally string and customize tennis, squash, or badminton racquets is a significant asset and will lead to additional responsibilities and compensation opportunities.
