Job Posting Overview
We are seeking two (2) Senior Business Systems Analysts (10+ Years Experience) to join a high-impact Intraday Liquidity Program within enterprise banking. Financial institutions globally are modernizing their liquidity frameworks to ensure real-time visibility, precise cash flow management, and adherence to strict regulatory mandates.
You will work closely with senior technology leadership, including Varunan Asokan (Senior Technology Officer, Intraday Liquidity & Tax), bridging complex front-to-back office systems, capital markets products, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, data mapping rules, and technical specifications across front, middle, and back-office systems.
- Execute heavy data profiling, data mining, and advanced SQL analysis to reconcile multi-source data and ensure immaculate data integrity.
- Partner with Corporate Treasury, Market Risk,
and Trading stakeholders to design scalable intraday liquidity monitoring and reporting solutions.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), facilitate defect triage, and drive solutions through to formal sign-off.
- Collaborate directly with developers and subject matter experts, authoring audit-ready functional specs, data lineage documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Top Required Skills & Background:
- 10+ Years of senior business analysis experience within financial services or capital markets.
- Domain Expertise: Strong capital markets product knowledge (calls, securities, bonds, yields, trading products) alongside retail banking, wealth, and commercial banking exposure (loans, deposits, mortgages).
- Liquidity & Cash Movement: Experience with Intraday Liquidity programs, cash flow management, and SWIFT messaging within banking environments.
- Technical Depth: Strong data background, advanced SQL querying, data profiling, data mapping, and reconciliation. Experience with the Transcend vendor solution is a robust plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with developers, SMEs, and senior executives.
