On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman - :

The project focuses on enabling consumers to onboard to API endpoints for customer data management while supporting ongoing host initiatives. The role involves translating business needs into technical concepts and vice versa, ensuring system requirements align with standards and frameworks.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman - Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications

- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine solutions and manage integration

- Own and manage traceability of system requirements through the project lifecycle

- Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions

- Provide operational and process-related analysis and support

- Promote innovation and critical thinking for improvement

- Participate in team development and knowledge transfer





Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman - Mandatory Skills:

- 8+ years of BSA experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe screens

- Strong hands-on experience with API/Postman

- Strong experience within Scaled Agile framework

- Solid understanding of Behavior Driven Development

- Strong experience using Jira and Confluence

- Strong testing and gap analysis skills

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Customer data experience

- Previous banking or financial experience

- Microsoft 365 Copilot/Github Copilot experience

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Mainframe, API/Postman – Assignment Length:

This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.
