As Senior Director, Benefits Governance, you define the strategic direction and oversee the evolution of the Bank’s employee benefits offering. As a recognized leader in the field, you act as a trusted advisor to the leadership teams and contribute to attracting, engaging, and retaining talent through competitive, equitable, and business-aligned programs. You lead a team of experts responsible for areas including group insurance, attendance and absence management, and occupational health and safety.

You also ensure innovation, sound governance, regulatory compliance, and the effective management of investments related to the programs under your responsibility. Act as a recognized leader and internal subject matter expert on employee benefits matters, supporting business priorities as well as talent attraction, engagement, and retention. Define and evolve the strategies, policies, programs, and technology platforms that support the employee benefits offering.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and risk management practices. Manage budgets, measure program performance, and drive value creation. Within the Human Experience and Performance (HEP) sector, you will be part of the Total Rewards team, consisting of approximately 45 colleagues, and you will report to the Senior Director, Well-being, Benefits and Recognition.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 7 to 10 years of experience, or a master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Recognized expertise in the design and evolution of employee benefits, health and wellness, retirement programs, or related fields.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing specialized teams. Excellent influencing, communication, and advisory skills with senior leadership and a broad range of stakeholders. Strong analytical, decision-making, and financial management capabilities, including the use of data to inform recommendations.

Languages: French, English Reason to require this language: you will need to carry out regularly tasks that require the use of IT apps and tools unavailable in French.
