Canadian Natural Resources Ltd is seeking an Area Geologist to join its Calgary office. As the Area Geologist, you will be a key player in a energetic and collaborative team of geoscientists and engineers, focused on optimizing and expanding production within a given area. The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and capable of working in a high pace environment where multitasking different priorities is essential.

Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts Create high-quality geologic interpretations with other geologists, geophysicists, and petrophysicists Work with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute large horizontal well drilling programs Integrate geologic data with production to identify optimization/workover opportunities A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Geology with 5+ years of petroleum geology experience Experience planning and drilling horizontal wells Fluency in software such as AccuMap, GeoGraphix, Petrel, Starsteer, and Microsoft OfficeTableau and Power BI would be an asset Competitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan,
