As a Senior MEP Operations Lead within the Building and Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical activities across large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your expertise ensures smooth execution and compliance, while supporting project teams with technical leadership and proactive problem-solving Overall success of the MEP execution on the assigned projects. Provide MEP expertise for the assigned projects.

Act as an electromechanical reference on projects of outstanding complexity or scope (design, construction, commissioning) Execute the role of MEP Operations Lead by. Act proactively to predict and mitigate risks This includes supporting the project team for all MEP items. Managing the MEP Scopes and Trade Partners Manage relationships to ensure trust and long-term relationships.

Support, guide, and manage junior MEP Ops team memebers, . (Support the project team in the preparation and validation of construction schedules and commissioning, with technical reviews of specialty shop drawings and with procurement (costs). Actively engage (as required by the Operations Manager)



in the remaining design development phase to ensure that the project objectives are met. Actively engage in the project schedule development to ensure that a viable achievable schedule is created.

Being on the site to assist with the management of the day to day MEP operations and supporting of the site staff.

Quality and Commissioning plans from our MEP trade partners. Drive the Commissioning Process, including the management of the third party Cx agent. 8-10 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry. ~ A University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience. ~ A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration.
