As a Senior Relationship Manager within the Product Partnerships team, you will manage a portfolio of strategic partners that enable the products and capabilities Moneris brings to market. You will be accountable for the health, performance, and overall value of these partnerships, working closely with partners and cross-functional teams across Moneris to achieve measurable business outcomes. Your focus will include revenue growth, cost optimization, product performance, and customer impact.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior partner stakeholders, establish effective governance practices, monitor partnership performance, and identify opportunities to expand, optimize, or evolve partnerships over time.
Contract Term: 15 months.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Posting Type: Replacement. Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions.
Manage Strategic Product Partnerships: Own the strategic and operational relationship with a portfolio of partners that support Moneris products, services, and capabilities. Establish objectives, key performance indicators, and success measures for each partnership, with accountability for revenue growth, cost optimization, product performance, adoption, and strategic value.
Monitor Partnership Health: Assess partner performance and relationship health, proactively identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate business reviews, performance discussions, and executive meetings, ensuring clear actions, accountability, and follow-through.
Optimize Commercial Performance:
Evaluate partnership economics and identify opportunities to improve financial performance, reduce costs, and unlock additional value. Partner with Product teams and external stakeholders to explore new capabilities, use cases, commercial models, and areas of collaboration.
Manage Partner Performance: Track commitments, service levels, and performance metrics, driving corrective actions when required.
Support Commercial and Contractual Activities: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Product leaders to support contract renewals, negotiations, and changes to partnership agreements.
Develop Strategic Recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations on partnership investments, expansion opportunities, renegotiations, consolidations, or exits. 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, relationship management, business development, product management, vendor management, or a related field. ~ Experience managing complex strategic relationships with external organizations and senior stakeholders. ~ Demonstrated success delivering measurable business outcomes through partnerships, including revenue growth, cost optimization, or improved product performance. ~ Experience working with business cases, financial models, pricing strategies, contracts, or commercial agreements. ~ Experience establishing and leading structured partner governance, including business reviews, performance measurement,
issue management, and executive engagement. ~ Experience evaluating partnership opportunities, assessing strategic and financial value, and developing recommendations for senior leaders. ~ Ability to manage multiple strategic relationships and priorities within a complex, cross-functional setting. ~ Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing technology or product-enabling partnerships, including relationships with technology providers, platforms, fintech organizations, or other product partners.
Experience supporting commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and partnership optimization initiatives.
