Our client is seeking a Senior Application & Systems Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support business-critical applications within a Microsoft technology environment.

This is a hands-on development role working across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, web applications, automation, and emerging AI capabilities . The successful candidate will combine strong application development skills with the ability to understand business requirements and deliver practical, secure solutions.

Location: Hybrid 2-3d/week Toronto

Responsibilities

- Design and develop solutions using Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Power Apps, third-party applications, and Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio, Copilot Agents, Azure AI services, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Build and maintain applications, integrations, automation, and business processes.
- Develop solutions using technologies including C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Azure Functions.
- Design and support serverless integrations and automation using Azure Functions, REST APIs, Python, PowerShell, and Microsoft cloud services.
- Integrate enterprise applications and data sources to streamline business processes and improve employee productivity.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
- Apply appropriate security, risk-management, solution-management,



and change-control practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex application issues and coordinate escalations with external providers when required.
- Identify opportunities to introduce current technologies, automation, and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 5–8 years of experience in application and database development, maintenance, integration, and reporting.
- Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience developing applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript and/or Python.
- Experience with Azure Functions, REST APIs, serverless architecture, and cloud integrations.
- Experience with PowerShell and automation.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, and/or Azure AI services.
- Experience developing or supporting modern web applications.
- Strong understanding of secure software-development practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business needs and recommend secure, practical technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
