The Senior Systems Integrator will work closely with the Solution Architect / Lead EBO Engineer, Controls Specialists, field teams, commissioning personnel, Project Managers, and other technical stakeholders to ensure engineering work is consistent, reliable, and aligned with the overall system architecture and migration standards.
This role is best suited to an experienced BAS professional with strong hands-on EBO engineering, system integration, BACnet, troubleshooting, and migration experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead detailed EBO engineering and system integration across assigned buildings, servers, and migration phases.
- Configure and maintain EBO databases, objects, points, devices, programs, schedules, setpoints, commands, and related system components.
- Support integration between Enterprise Servers, Edge Servers, supervisory controllers, field controllers, and connected devices, including server-to-server and controller-to-server communications.
- Support Edge Server migrations and maintain consistent engineering practices, architecture, naming conventions, and migration standards.
- Configure and manage alarms, priorities, routing, acknowledgements, trends, trend logs, historical data collection, and retention requirements.
- Develop and maintain system navigation, menus, user interfaces, user groups, roles, permissions, and logical system organization.
- Support graphics development, migration, and interface consistency across the EBO environment.
- Review and migrate existing databases, objects, programs, graphics, trends, alarms, and system configurations.
- Identify obsolete or duplicate configurations, naming issues, data inconsistencies, and other conditions that may affect migration quality.
- Support mapping between existing BAS environments and the target EBO system structure.
- Troubleshoot EBO servers, controllers, BACnet networks, databases, field devices, communications, programming, performance, and system integrations.
- Support BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP integration, including device instances, addressing, routing, communication paths, and network relationships.
- Work with Controls Specialists and field teams to investigate issues identified during network assessments, migration, commissioning, or QA/QC reviews.
- Resolve technical issues or elevate architecture-level matters to the Solution Architect / Lead EBO Engineer.
- Support integration with third-party BAS equipment, controllers, gateways, historians, reporting, analytics, and other external platforms.
- Review sequences of operation and ensure system configuration and programming align with approved control requirements; modify or support controls logic where required.
- Review and interpret controls drawings, network and wiring diagrams, points lists, specifications, sequences, and other technical documentation.
- Perform pre- and post-migration system checks and support testing, commissioning, functional verification, and system acceptance.
- Identify and resolve migration deficiencies and technical punch-list items.
- Maintain engineering documentation, configuration records, issue logs, test results, migration records, as-built information, and final technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to field technicians, Controls Specialists, junior integrators, programmers, and commissioning personnel.
- Participate in technical reviews, project and coordination meetings, and migration planning sessions.
- Communicate technical risks, issues, dependencies, and required corrective actions to project stakeholders.
- Follow applicable project, site, safety, quality, engineering, and technical standards.
