Commissionaires is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our presence across the Greater Toronto Area, Central and South-Central Ontario. Every contract you close helps to support meaningful employment for veterans and others with a service background. You will own a defined territory from prospecting through close, supported by a CRM-driven pipeline, a structured qualification process, and marketing support.

You will also have a direct line to leadership, so your ideas about the market actually get heard. Concierge and front-of-house services.

Safety

Awareness, First Aid and AED compliance training, and related safety services. You will prospect and close business across Southwestern and South-Central Ontario, primarily with: Commercial and residential property management. Healthcare and long-term care facilities.

Industrial and manufacturing sites. Retail and commercial complexes. Municipal and public-sector accounts. Own the full sales cycle for your territory, from prospecting through close. Build a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking at industry events, trade shows, and association functions.

Work the solution behind every deal, including pricing, margin, and contract terms, so we can deliver on both service quality and our wage mandate. Keep your pipeline and forecast data current and accurate in the CRM. This role is measured on consistent follow-through, not just relationship-building.

Work with our Operations team so new accounts are onboarded smoothly and stay satisfied long-term.

Keep an eye on the competitive landscape in Ontario's security services market and share what you're seeing with the team. A track record of hitting or beating sales targets, ideally in security, B2B services, or another relationship-driven sales environment.

Comfort managing a full sales cycle: understanding a client's needs, building a proposal, and negotiating a fair deal for both sides. Good habits around CRM and pipeline management, so opportunities don't fall through the cracks. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, since this role involves regular travel to client sites.

High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset. Bonus if you have existing relationships or experience in a business services setting, but it's not required. Monday to Friday, based out of our Oakville office at 2947 Portland Drive.

Health, drug, and dental benefits, a DBplus defined-benefit pension plan, and an Employee and Family Assistance Program. Paid vacation and a mission you can actually explain to your family at dinner. A sales organization that invests in modern tools and process, so you're set up to succeed, not just handed a phone book.

This is a field-based role with regular travel to client sites across Southwestern and South-Central Ontario. Occasional evening or weekend commitments for client or industry events. Reports to the Director, Sales and Business Development.

Our employment policies strictly prohibit all forms of discrimination on any of the grounds in relevant laws.
