Total Plumbing & Heating is hiring an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Worker / HVAC Installer to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson with commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience who can step into active construction projects, work effectively with our team and other trades, and consistently deliver quality work.

We are actively hiring Journeyperson Sheet Metal Workers and experienced apprentices .

What You’ll Be Doing

- Installing commercial HVAC and sheet metal systems
- Installing ductwork, fittings, equipment, grilles, diffusers and related HVAC components
- Fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal systems
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Laying out ductwork and installations from drawings and site conditions
- Completing commercial current construction, renovation and retrofit work
- Coordinating installations with plumbing, electrical and other trades
- Identifying site conflicts and working with supervisors to resolve issues
- Working independently and as part of a commercial construction team
- Maintaining productivity, quality and workmanship standards
- Following company and site-specific safety requirements
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional work areas
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, project teams and other trades

What We’re Looking For

- Sheet Metal Journeyperson or experienced apprentice
- Commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience strongly preferred




- Strong ductwork fabrication and installation skills
- Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of commercial construction practices and job-site coordination
- Ability to accurately measure, lay out and install systems
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Reliable, accountable and organized
- Strong focus on quality and productivity
- Safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team
