Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Duties
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding food service and hospitality experiences
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately using Micros POS systems
- Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong, capable team
- Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, health regulations, and safety protocols
- Support kitchen operations by coordinating food production and maintaining cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience in the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; bartending or barista experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred; food industry background highly valued
