Shift Lead / Supervisor

About Us

At Jabal Coffee, we're building a team that takes ownership of the guest experience and the day-to-day rhythm of the shop. As we grow, we're looking for a Shift Lead who can run a great shift, support the team, and keep things on-brand — even when the owner or manager isn't on the floor.

We are seeking an experienced Shift Lead / Supervisor to run shifts, support baristas, and help maintain consistency across service, cleanliness, and guest experience. This role is a strong fit for locations led directly by an owner-operator, or where a General Manager needs a trusted second-in-command to cover shifts and keep standards on track.

Key Responsibilities

- Run assigned shifts, including opening or closing procedures.
- Support, coach, and give real-time feedback to baristas during a shift.
- Step in on bar or register as needed to keep service moving.
- Monitor product quality, cleanliness, and guest experience throughout the shift.
- Handle routine guest concerns and escalate anything beyond your authority to the owner-operator or manager.




- Help with basic stock checks and flag inventory or equipment issues.
- Uphold brand standards for quality, consistency, and guest experience during your shift.

Qualifications

- 1+ years of coffee shop or food & beverage experience, with some experience leading or training others preferred.
- Solid knowledge of coffee preparation and bar flow.
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and comfortable making decisions during a shift.
- Strong communication skills with both guests and teammates.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
