We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver with forklift experience to support shipping, receiving, and material handling in a woodworking/manufacturing workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming lumber, wood panels, hardware, and other materials.
- Prepare and organize outgoing orders and shipments.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Safely move lumber, plywood, finished cabinets, and other products.
- Verify quantities against packing slips and shipping documents.
- Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records.
- Keep the warehouse and loading areas clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification and hands-on operating experience.
- Experience handling lumber, sheet goods, cabinets, or similar materials is an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
