JOB SUMMARY: The Shipper Receiver is responsible for packing and shipping parts and materials.

Essential Functions

- Prepares records of shipments and bills of lading for ground and air shipments in accordance with company policy.
- Posts shipments to customer orders.
- Upon completion of shipment, show order as shipped and forward documents to the accounting department.
- Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned.
- Weighs and labels shipments and moves material with a hand truck.
- Forwards packing lists as needed and files copies.
- Data entry to business system such as posting individual part weight.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications Education :



High School diploma or equivalent. Experience : Two years experience as a shipping clerk.

Skills : Must be able to know how to use UPS Worldship or similar carrier-based shipping software. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software programs. Forklift certification or significant forklift operating experience preferred. Skilled in working with wood, including carpentry experience.

Requirements : Must work in a safe manner and must have a safe work record. Safety must be the first and foremost concern as these machines are capable of excellent bodily harm.
