Job Summary:

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instructor coach others.

We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician to join our team in (Edmonton, AB).

You will make an impact in the following ways:

- Perform and document preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment
- Support equipment uptime through troubleshooting, failure analysis, and quality workmanship
- Perform maintenance work using diagrams, manuals, specifications, measuring devices, and testing instruments
- Conduct quality inspections and follow all process documentation, quality procedures, and safety requirements
- Identify and help reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including routine housekeeping and equipment cleaning
- Provide feedback to preventive maintenance systems and raise issues that impact quality, safety, or cost
- Coach and support less experienced team members while serving as a technical resource
- Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities focused on safety, quality, process improvement, and employee development
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and actively promote a secure workplace

Responsibilities

In order to be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- Significant maintenance,



manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience obtained through work, training, or education
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and associated safety controls
- Ability to perform skilled maintenance activities with minimal supervision
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with production, maintenance, and support teams
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to other team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing maintenance experience and TPM knowledge preferred

Qualifications

Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road Journeyperson certification required Engine repair/assembly experience preferred

Cummins service tool experience (Quickserve Online, Cummins Insite, etc.) considered an asset

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.





This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
