We are looking for experienced snow-removal subcontractors for commercial and residential properties in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Applicants must have their own suitable snow-removal equipment and reliable transportation. Equipment may include a plow truck, skid steer, tractor, snowblower, or other commercial snow-removal equipment depending on the work assigned.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned snow-removal routes and properties

Plow parking lots and driveways as required

Clear entrances and walkways when included in the assignment

Apply salt when required

Respond reliably during snow events, including early morning or overnight work

Communicate job completion and site conditions

Requirements

Own snow-removal equipment

Valid driver's license where required

Reliable transportation





Previous snow-removal experience preferred

Available during snowstorms and changing weather conditions

Able to work independently and reliably

Compensation

Compensation is based on the property, route, equipment used, and scope of work. Rates and assignments will be agreed upon before work begins.

This is an independent subcontractor prospect. Subcontractors are responsible for their own equipment and operating expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
