As a member of the Sonovision Team, the technical writer has the responsibility of supporting the operations team.

A technical writer with Sonovision should: Have an engineering background (mechanical, aerospace, electrical etc.) and/or hands‑on experience in the aerospace maintenance field and/or significant experience/training in the technical publications field.

Experience with S1000D, ATA2200 and/or MIL-SPEC specifications is an asset. Previous use and/or knowledge of Simplified English and SGML/XML would also be an asset. Previous use and/or knowledge of Adobe Framemaker, Quicksilver and/or Arbortext Editor is an asset.

To develop technical documentation in terms of: Having a sound technical knowledge base.



Working with the rest of the technical writing group to ensure that documents are delivered correct, on time and on budget.
