Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field obtained in the last five years and have substantial experience in photonics and device characterization. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate PICs using tools like Lumerical
- Develop silicon nitride device architectures for spectroscopy
- Conduct optical characterization and support fiber-optic coupling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and publish findings
- Ensure packaging standards for waveguide devices Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or closely related field
- Significant experience with electromagnetic simulation tools
- Knowledge of photonic device layout and fabrication
- Capacity for independent research and innovation
