At The Sydney Grind, we blend the laid-back vibe of Australian café culture with the energy of Toronto’s west end. We're passionate about specialty coffee, warm hospitality, and creating a space where locals feel at home. We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced baristas to join our growing team!

Duties

- Prepare high-quality espresso and coffee beverages to specialty standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety guidelines
- Deliver warm, attentive customer service
- Support opening/closing duties as needed
- Stay up to date with our rotating beans, blends, and seasonal offerings
- Operate the Clover POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.




- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- 1–2 years experience in a specialty café environment
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Strong espresso skills and basic latte art proficiency
- Passion for customer service and coffee culture
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
