Victory Sports is seeking a driven and experienced Sports Retail Manager to lead our dynamic team. As one of Windsor’s longest-standing sports retailers, we specialize in hockey, baseball, lacrosse, and custom team wear for local associations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sports retail, a passion for team culture, and the leadership skills to elevate both customer experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and performance management
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to ensure product availability and freshness
- Maintain and optimize POS systems for smooth transactions, reporting, and customer data management
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries
- Ensure merchandising standards are upheld and the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Provide expert guidance to customers on sports equipment, apparel, and team wear customization
- Stay informed on industry trends, seasonal gear,



and local league needs to better serve our community
- Support marketing initiatives and in-store promotions to drive traffic and engagement

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in sports retail or a related retail management role
- Robust understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, ordering, and POS systems
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, retail management, sports administration, or a related field
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with hockey, baseball, or lacrosse equipment is a strong asset
- Passion for sports and community engagement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
