Job#: 3051414 : Senior Technical Architect (Oracle Health Cerner) Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in British Columbia)

Term: 6-Month Contract (455 hours)

Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to provide technical architecture leadership and advisory services supporting enterprise clinical and business systems within a complex healthcare workplace. The successful consultant will support operational, optimization, integration, and modernization initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and operational best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, architecture, implementation, and operational support of Oracle Health Cerner and supporting technologies.
- Provide technical architecture guidance to clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Support healthcare systems integration initiatives leveraging HL7, EMPI, interface engines, and interoperability frameworks.
- Assess technical dependencies, risks, and impacts across infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, identity services, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain architectural designs, technical standards, implementation roadmaps, and supporting documentation.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, validation, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and clinical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for modernization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and complex enterprise technology environments.




- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise healthcare information systems in large clinical environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Health Cerner (Cerner Millennium), including implementation, optimization, integration, and operational support.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, EMPI, interface engines, and integration frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including Active Directory, Identity & Access Management, SQL Server, Oracle databases, virtualization, and application delivery technologies.
- Experience with Citrix, Enterprise SSO solutions, and clinical workstation technologies such as Imprivata OneSign.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise healthcare technology solutions across complex organizations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership capabilities.
