Utilizing the latest technologies available, you will design and build data solutions to meet business needs, independently gathering requirements, researching and taking on recent projects for which there is no template and the tool set may be new.

Be an active contributor to not only your individual team, but to the RBC development community. Work on both transformational and BAU projects delivering new value while also maintaining and enriching existing applications and processes. Work as part of a cross-functional agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs.

Use your DevOps and SRE mindset to automate everything.

Experience working with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP).

Experience working with Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi and other big data technologies.





Experience with HDFS and S3 for data storage and retention.

Experience with AWS data products including SageMaker, Neptune, Glue, EC2, EMR, and Lambda.

Experience with containerized applications and application deployment, including docker and OpenShift. Application development experience in Python, Java and Linux shell scripting. Application development experience with CI/CD, version control, code reviews and other best practices in daily work.

Experience with relational databases, NoSQL data stores and graph databases like Neo4j.
