The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for screening, interviewing, and hiring roles within the distribution centres across Canada, as well as, keeping up to date on legislation that impacts recruiting. This role is responsible for attracting and recruiting top talent to allow the business to achieve its company goals and objectives. Work closely with hiring managers to determine hiring needs for hourly and entry level salaried positions Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a strong candidate pipeline for both hourly and entry level salaried employees Monitor internal and external careers sites to ensure all postings are current and active Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and perform phone screenings Participate in Career and Job Fairs and collaborate on Recruitment initiatives Work with HR team to facilitate orientation and onboarding on current employees Other projects or duties as assigned Completion of degree from a recognized post-secondary school specializing in Human Resources ~1-2 years of recruiting experience,



preferably in a high-volume environment ~ Must be bilingual in French and English ~ Proven success delivering recruiting results individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment ~ Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates & hiring managers ~ HR diploma or degree is preferred Experience understanding transportation, general labour, shipping/receiving and/or various warehouse hiring is preferred Experience using Recruiting software an asset #This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision coverage.
