Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Energy and Infrastructure General Supervisor, you will be part of the Energy and Infrastructure Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the setting.
- Responsible for road and bridge maintenance, inspection, and reporting;
- Responsible of all site road maintenance;
- Supervision of all heavy equipment AEM and Contractor operators (loaders, graders, cranes, fuel / water/ vac trucks, roll off trucks, dozers, excavators, Waste Management & Plant Operators);
- Support the success of the snow management plan and the water management plan (freshet action plan).
What You Need To Succeed
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role;
- Civil construction experience would be considered an asset;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team;
- A desire to learn, and a passion for talent development, is considered essential to this role;
- Experience working in a multicultural environment;
- Strong safety culture and a commitment to safety and sustainability practices;
- Lead HR-related activities including annual evaluations and development plans and participate in the recruitment process;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Note that the official working language at Hope Bay is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 21 days of work, followed by 21 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.

Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site from our Western hub in Edmonton, Alberta.
