Systems & Process Engineer – Co-op Student

POSITION OVERVIEW

MissionPerform is looking for a Systems & Process Engineering Co-op Student to join our consulting and digital systems practice.

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and engineers on real transformation projects that improve how organizations operate from optimizing manufacturing processes to designing digital management systems.

You’ll contribute to analytics, process mapping, and design activities that help our clients unlock performance and growth. This is a great prospect to apply your engineering education in a real-world consulting environment, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to the life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors.

What you'll do

Data & Process Analytics

Collect and organize performance, quality, and operations data.

Support data visualization and analysis using tools such as Excel or Power BI.

Assist in identifying trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Join client and internal workshops to capture insights and support facilitation materials.

Assist consultants in summarizing key findings and next steps.

Implementation Assistance

Support rollout activities such as documentation, tracking action items, and preparing training materials.





Observe how consulting teams manage change, measure progress, and sustain results.

Systems & Design Support

Help create process maps, workflow diagrams, and system prototypes.

Contribute to design documentation and presentations for client discussions.

Participate in feedback and iteration cycles to refine system designs.

Research & Development Support

Conduct focused research on process improvement tools, digital systems, and design methods.

Contribute ideas and learnings to the development of MissionPerform’s consulting frameworks and digital solutions (Pods, Nodes, CODES, Synapse).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct data gathering and analysis.

Assist in preparing reports and presentations.

Support project delivery through administrative and analytical tasks.

Participate in internal training and development programs.

About you

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in operations, design, engineering, consulting or other related fields.

Education: Currently enrolled in an Engineering (or related discipline) program.

Proficiency in analytical tools and MS Office Suite.

Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear messages.

A growth mindset, curiosity, and genuine interest in helping people and organizations improve.
