Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, counters, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Support food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or food industry and customer service ia an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and pricing.
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
