- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of software solutions for Risk Analysts, Front Office Traders, and Senior Executives • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications on distributed computing platforms • Build, enhance, and support data processing pipelines, REST APIs, and web-based applications • Participate in software design, development, testing, and deployment • Perform unit testing and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members • Contribute to code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes • Improve application performance, automation, and software quality • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, and global technology teams • Learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices Requirements ~5+ years of software development experience with Java/JEE and object-oriented programming ~3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hadoop, or Hive ~ Experience developing data processing pipelines using Spark, Scala, or Python ~ Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases ~ Familiarity with relational databases and strong SQL skills ~ Experience building or consuming REST APIs ~ Working knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture ~ Experience using Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or similar technologies ~ Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting ~ Understanding of software design principles, coding standards,
