Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our agile manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and expertise. Your expertise in TIG welding, combined with mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills, will contribute to the production of high-quality custom metal structures, ductwork, and assemblies.

Responsibilities

- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join various metals with accuracy and consistency, ensuring strong and clean welds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications and procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Conduct machining operations as needed to achieve precise dimensions using calipers, hand tools, or machine tools.
- Rigging materials and components safely for assembly or installation processes while adhering to safety standards.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or welding processes and make necessary adjustments.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction activities.

Requirements

- Proven experience in TIG welding with a strong portfolio of completed projects; MIG welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including plasma cutting, press brake operation, machining, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting and positioning heavy components safely.
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and ductwork fabrication is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
- Knowledge of construction or manufacturing environments with an understanding of schematics and assembly instructions.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
