- Protect the safety of the crew and the public by directing motor/pedestrian traffic
- Communicate effectively with site workers, crew, and dispatch
- Itemize truck contents
- Produce accurate & timely reporting
- Demonstrate solid decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- have a Valid TCP certificate
- be reliable
- have a valid Drivers License
