This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, coaches, and buses in a shop environment. Use secondary materials and equipment safely Use related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems Accurately document on work orders all unit information, actions taken, and time spent Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection,



and diagnosis Road test equipment and verify repairs as required Previous mechanical experience in a truck and coach environment is required Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Transport technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred Experience with electrical diagnosis/troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems is considered an asset Must be committed to customer service and service excellence Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with equipment engineers, the service team, and branch personnel.
